Our centre at Butterstone Loch provides the perfect welcome for our guests. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city in a lovely rural location, our specialist driving centre in nearby Dunkeld has been designed to provide the best off-road driving challenges.
meet the team
The company is run by Managing Director, Will Cox, and Administration Director, Beverley Large. The team has grown considerably over the last 10 years and we now have 32 members of staff including 18 fully qualified full-time and part-time Land Rover Experience instructors.
As well as instructing on a day-to-day basis, our expert instructors are also qualified to teach Professional Driver Training including Lantra, BORDA and Land Rover Experience accredited courses. Other training delivered includes Winch Recovery, Trailer Handling, Vehicle Recovery, Adverse Weather Driving and ATV Training.
our facilities
Our specialist off-road driving centre is just 3 miles away in Dunkeld, giving our guests a short on-road drive to settle into the vehicle. At the driving centre, off-road facilities include an obstacle/assault course, swap, rock crawl, log crawl and deep pond, as well as woodland tracks covering 280 acres. In addition to this, we have access to over 150 miles of private tracks through wild highland estate, by permission of local landowners.
Exciting activities are also on offer for groups, including team building, off-road driving and fun 4x4 games including blindfold driving and vehicle tennis. Catering can be organised to suit the group, ranging from a soup and sandwich lunch to a barbecue by the loch.
